Guest Tagging with zkipster
Guest Tagging with zkipster as Professional UsersAs a Professional Event User you're able to use zkipster's color coding system to tag your guests in anyway you see fit. This article breaks down our event plans and what each one entails.
The colors are a part of zkipster's seating feature but even if you're not using the seating function, you still have the ability to take advantage of color tagging.
To upload a color for each of your guests you will want to make sure seating is turned on in your Event Settings for your Professional Event. This can also be turned on when you first create your event and are setting up the Event Details.
Then on your excel you will want to designate a column for Seating Color and fill in by the color tagging system you want to put in place. In the example below you can see that I have a blue icon to indicate my VIP guests and the yellow icon to indicate my general guests.
The colors available are Yellow, Red, Blue, Pink and Green.
Once your guest list is uploaded into zkipster, from your desktop you can customize the desktop view with the little icon to the left of the grey drop downs. Include the Seating Color field to be displayed along with any other information you find pertinent. You can filter by the colors when clicking on the column.
Other items you may want to tag include...
- Dining Preferences
- Who's bringing additional guests
- Who has paid vs who hasn't
- Tagging large groups you would like associated with one another
- And much more
On your Check in DeviceTo be able to use this tagging system while on the app you can customize how your columns will be displayed from the Guest Fields tab. This article shows how this can be done in more detail and as an example for what this will look like, see the image below.
