Customizing App Columns and RSVP Form Field Order

It’s really simple to organize fields to be displayed on tablets while checking in guests, or when customizing the response forms for your RSVP invitations. Customizing your RSVP form fields is located at the bottom of this article.

Customizing App Columns

The Guest Fields tab is located on the left hand side of your Event Menu. You're able to add your own custom fields, organize them as you like, and hide certain fields you don't want displayed on your zkipster app.

The device previewer at the top of the screen will allow you to see exactly how the columns will look when logged into your event on your check-in devices.
 
  1. You can move fields around by clicking and dragging the boxed icon on the left hand side of the field. Choose the order of the fields you would like to be displayed on the apps.
  2. You can edit and delete any of your Custom Fields with the Pen or Garbage can icon next to the field.
  3. Default fields can't be deleted but they can be hidden from the app by clicking on the pencil icon and selecting the box to hide this field from check-in apps.
  4. The device previewer will allow you to see how the fields will display across all of your devices.
Quick Note: Now when using seating you will see Table Lable, Seat Label, and Seat Color as fields available to be displayed. This makes it much easier to identify guests by their seat or color assignments! 

If you don't see the field you need displayed create it as a new custom field and move it to the appropriate position.

Update your Apps: This new update to Guest Fields requires you to update your zkipster apps on your devices. zkipster on iOs version 2.20.2 and Android version 1.8.4

Customizing Form Field Order

You're able to customize the order of the fields on your RSVP form the same way you did with the app columns.. Move your fields in the order you want them displayed on the form and they will show up for you when you head to your Edit Form page.
 
  1. The only fields you're unable to reorder are First Name, Last Name, Total Guests, and Email for the form
  2. You can move fields by clicking and dragging the boxed icon on the left hand side of the field. Organize your field in the order you would like displayed for your guests on the form.
  3. You can edit and delete any of your Custom Fields with the Pen or Garbage can icon next to the field. Create new custom fields either on the form or from the Guest Fields page at the top right.
  4. Click save once your set and go to your Edit Form page to choose which fields are displayed on the form.




Now when I go to my form I can flip on those response fields and they will display in the order I have set up.
